Dawson's on the recommendation of a friend. We made a reservation for p. The ambiance was nice and it was dimly lit for dinner and the leather seats were pretty comfortable.
Shortly after being seated we were greeted by our server Melissa, who was very pleasant, attentive and accurate throughout the evening. Actually, shout out to the whole staff as the teamwork was great. They did a great job of assisting one another and quick covered one another when there was a need.
My wife and I each had a bowl of the Lobster Bisque soup, and shared the pumpernickel loaf, buffalo wings, and caesar salad. The soup was pretty good and was clearly filled with lobster as meat was piled on top. The pumpernickel loaf was my fav I love bread and was served warm with a tasty maple butter.
The buffalo wings were decent as they were breaded and tossed in the sauce. The caesar salad was decent as the lettuce was fresh and the croutons were clearly made in-house.
The shrimp and scallops were grilled to perfect and not overcooked. I appreciated that because I usually assume that all non-seafood specialty restaurants will probably overcook any seafood. I was surprised at how tender and buttery soft the seared scallops were. The chicken and ribs were grilled very well and tasted very smokey. The green beans were cooked very well with a snap but could have used some more salt.
For dessert we share the cheesecake and the apple walnut cobbler with french vanilla ice cream. Both were equally excellent. Amazing food , great service. Highly recommend. A nice dinner with our oldest daughter. Our waitress was phenomenal. Actually all of the waitresses that passed by our table were very upbeat and pleasant.

As always, great food and great service. Highlight was the ribs with their "kicked up" barbecue sauce. IMO the best ribs around. Our waiter was very nice, made sure we had everything we needed and that everything was okay! The food was excellent and we were seated on time for our reservation.
