While Britt was happy about their relationship, Mulan felt like it had been a mistake, and eventually left Century City and "The Green Hornet Team" for several months, eventually returning while the city was under siege from the zombie army created by Doctor Creepy.

After her return from her "exile", Mulan and Britt were recruited by The Green Lama, Lady Satan, and The Spider to deal with a woman calling herself The Red Death, a threat which spanned several different eras of history and several universes.

During this team-up, Mulan and Britt met their fathers as they were in their prime as the original Green Hornet and Kato team. The Red Death was defeated and time was repaired, with Britt and Mulan having no memory of their participation in the fight. Mulan later became part of another multiversal team-up when she was selected by a mysterious woman called The Traveler to do battle against a twisted version of the fairy tale character Prince Charming.

Given a special custom-made "Sword of Sorrow" by The Traveler's courier, Kato led the fight against the Prince's army of Shard Men outside The Traveler's Tower on a patchwork world consisting of several small fragments of alternate realities. The battle was eventually won and Mulan was sent back to her proper place in time and space. Following the sudden disappearance of Britt Junior, Mulan took it upon herself to become the new Green Hornet, and set out on a worldwide journey to find Britt.

Mulan eventually discovered Britt in the country of Turkey, and after their reunion, faced off against a new superhero called "The Oko", who nearly unmasked the two on live television. Our goal is to make a film that existing fans will love, and new fans will love to discover. With Universal, it feels like we are merging the past and the future, creating a contemporary version of the franchise that is fresh and exciting while respecting its long legacy and history.
